THE MISSION
The foundation of Heart Corps is to use modern technologies and the communities around them to create new ways for people to find employment and better their lives. This is done by financing special core projects that show great potential for both reaching a wide variety of people with the right skills and initiative in need of employment, and at the same time can be structured in a way that makes them fairly safe and lucrative investment opportunities for partners, who have a vested interest in mobilizing people that would otherwise have been left with few options for good, stable employment and lives.

THE PROJECTS
To pursue the goal of creating good employment and investment opportunities without relying on outside help or other factors, projects are carefully picked for a list of criteria, such as ease of access for newcomers, reach and variety in use, good options for investing, and more. There are currently four projects getting attention:

Unnamed animation project, designed to make the animation movie industry more accessible, helping fund independent movie projects and creating employment for 3D animators, script writers, voice artists, and 3d software engineers.

Unnamed game development project, deigned to open up game development to outsiders, helping create opportunities for game programmers, game asset developers, game designers, digital artists, voice artists, and more.

Unnamed education project, designed to provide education to vulnerable areas and create opportunities for teachers and academics.

Unnamed physical gaming project, designed to create opportunities for writers, artists, traditional game designers, publishers, and more.

In addition to the opportunities listed, all projects are designed to provide opportunities for independent media, such as reporting on or creating debate around projects, including independent work that provides exposure to projects independently connected to projects. The goal is to supplement employment opportunities directly created by the projects themselves with secondary opportunities that can be set up and organically grown by people not directly funded or employed by Heart Corps itself.

THE COMMUNITY
Unlike temp agencies and job recruitment offices, Heart Corps does not handle each job as an isolated case. The goal is to create a culture of job creation, empowering those jobs that pave the way for other jobs to be created and grow. Communities of people that use their jobs to create new opportunities are a key to this, and the members of these communities are as much a part of the effort as Heart Corps itself is. This includes anyone seeing projects of their own financed and needing people to handle various tasks, such as a movie or game needing skilled artists. Laying the foundation for these communities to spring up and function well is a core responsibility of Heart Corps, utilizing both places created for that specific purpose, and preexisting communities, like social media, around the world and the internet.

THE FINANCING
The first stages of financing have been provided by a established circle of people with interest in the long-term goals of Heart Corps. However, while the project indeed owes its existence to them, this is far from enough to have the impact that Heart Corps is designed for. Therefore, models for external financing, complete with generous returns, have been developed and are being refined for implementation. These involve financing individual sub-projects and batches of sub-projects that are released at a slowly accelerating frequency, allowing for flexible and much shorter financing cycles than the long-term original backing, providing tangible returns at an increasing rate. This is not aimed at a few large backers, however, but designed specifically to accomodate a wider base of small to mid level backers, doing away with the gatekeeping that usually benefits the already rich. Potential backers are vetted through direct interviews to protect against abusive or rash people wanting to get rich on the work of others, and the projects and backers are managed to avoid conflicts of interest or abusive practices that creative industry financing is, sadly, very known for. Heart Corps is not publicly traded and is not subject to laws requiring or encouraging the abuse of those employed or otherwise connected to projects, and any attempts to force such practices on the project will be countered by restricting or barring any financial backing from or benefits for those who would suggest or require these practices to be used. Agreements between Heart Corps and any backer explicitly prohibits the use of any access to the project from being used to apply any pressure on projects, for the safety of those involved with projects, and the safety of Heart Corps as a whole. Any financial backing is limited to the potential for financial returns.
